    Maithili is an Indo-Aryan and a scheduled language of India. It is spoken in the north-eastern part of the Bihar state of India and in the tarai region of Nepal. It is the 16th most spoken language of India and the 40th most spoken language of the world. The present paper forms a part of my Ph.D. thesis which attempts to revisit the major earlier works related to verbal system of Maithili. It also investigates the way how Maithili verbs have been treated by many Linguists and points out the facts that appears quite unconvincing and further leads us to a direction in which the study of the morphology of Maithili verbs becomes a matter of reinvestigation.     STUDENT’S PERCEPTION TOWARDS PLAGIARISM: A CASE STUDY OF CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF HARYANA (INDIA)

    Plagiarism is an academic misconduct in which a person use or steals others intellectual property and presents it as own. This paper indicates about the perception of Central University Haryana students towards plagiarism. It is observed that the issue of plagiarism is a matter of great concern in higher educational institutions. This survey study was conducted on 150 post graduate level students of central university of Haryana where student’s perception towards plagiarism was assessed on the basis of a questionnaire. Results revealed that most of the students had a positive perception towards the plagiarism aspect assessed in this study. The favorable perception could be the result of their understanding about plagiarism and its consequences in academics. It might be due to the notification of UGC about plagiarism according to which it is considered as a crime in academics and UGC has zero tolerance policy on plagiarism with a penalty

    In Ayurveda, Shastra and Anushstra Karma are described in detail. Kshara is best among Shastra and Anushastras. Two types of Kshara are there - Paneeya and Pratisarneeya. Pratisarneeya Kshara is of three types- Mridu, Madhyama and Teekshana. Kshara Karma include - Pratisarneeya Kshara application, Kshara Sutra therapy and Kshara Varti. Pratisaraniya Kshara is mainly used in wound management, various anorectal disorders such as Arsha (Haemorrhoids), kushtha, Arbuda, Dushta Nadivrana, Guda Bhramsha (Rectal prolapse). Kshara is a caustic material. It causes chemical burn on the area where it is applied. It helps in sloughing of necrosed and infected tissues. Kshara Sutra therapy is used specially in Bhagandara (Fistula in Ano), Nadivrana (Pilonidal sinus) and various benign growth of skin such as papilloma, warts etc. Kshara Varti is used in chronic non healing wounds for debridement and in sinuses or fistula in ano. Ksahra Karma has been very much effective non surgical means in the management of various disorders especially in anorectal disorders

    One major component of machine learning is feature analysis which comprises of mainly two processes: feature selection and feature extraction. Due to its applications in several areas including data mining, soft computing and big data analysis, feature selection has got a reasonable importance. This paper presents an introductory concept of feature selection with various inherent approaches. The paper surveys historic developments reported in feature selection with supervised and unsupervised methods. The recent developments with the state of the art in the on-going feature selection algorithms have also been summarized in the paper including their hybridizations.     Simulation of Cylindrical Resonator with Spiral Neck and Straight Neck to Attenuate the Low Frequency Noise of Muffler

    This paper is concentrated for improving the transmission loss and reduces the low frequency noise level by development of Helmholtz Resonator within a limited space. The modified Helmholtz resonator, i.e. cylindrical resonator with spiral neck is used to occupy the small space. Introduction of spiral neck instead of straight neck with cylindrical cavity reduces the space of resonator. For first cut-off frequency (resonance frequency) the volume of resonator is fixed, so with the help of spiral neck its length increases, volume increases and its curvature effect is also helpful in the reduction of noise. The finite element analysis tool Comsol multiphysics is used to validate the result. The results shows interesting factor that resonator not only attenuate a particular low frequency noise as well it increases transmission loss with spiral neck. Helmholtz resonator with a spiral neck can achieve high sound reduction within a small space at low frequency

    Evaluation the Quality of Software Design by Call Graph based Metrics

    The prediction of software defects was introduced to support development and maintenance activities to improve the software quality by finding errors early in the software development. It facilitates maintenance in terms of effort, time and more importantly the cost prediction for software evolution and maintenance activities. In this paper, we evaluate the quality related attributes in developed software products. The software call graph model is also used for several applications in order to represent and reflect the degree of their complexity in terms of understandability, testability and maintainability efforts. The extracted metrics are investigated for the evaluated applications in correlation with bugs collected from customers bug reports. Those software related bugs are compiled into datasets files to use as an input to a data miner for classification, prediction and association analysis. Finally, the analysis results is evaluated in terms of finding the correlation between software products bugs and call graph based metrics. We find that call graph based metrics are appropriate to detect and predict software defects so that the activities of testing and maintenance stages become easier to estimate or assess after the product delivery
